Full Worm Moon

Full Worm Moon

By Tara Sutphen

The Worm Moon at 28* Virgo will culminate March 19, 2:10pm pst/ 5:10pm est (almanac) The moon is your personal spotlight in the world, as you are on the earth’s stage. You are seen in the world and this Super Moon is about doing your best, creating optimum health and vitality. Taking the initiative and becoming a robust and purposeful human. Are you moving toward your goals or away from everything you ever dreamt possible. You either rally gaining access to your goals or you give up, let’s not allow surrender be an option. It could be that you are not aware of relinquishing what you do well or finest on the planet. You may not realize you aren’t trying as hard anymore, that health, wellbeing and your zest is waning. You may look in a mirror and not recognize who is staring back at you. When did this happen and why is it happening, look deeper than surface sight.

Have that self talk in the mirror, let’s not go into the outer aspects before tuning into the inner you. The outer you is how you are manifesting in the world, the inner you is quite a beautiful creation, within you houses your soul and the depth of your being. On the inside we work at gaining perspective, truthfulness, activation of the life force, creating love, becoming aware of our individual purpose, gaining inspiration on what we do well, talents and hidden capabilities. The recognition of vitality, who we are and the capacity to find what is foremost for you. If only to create solutions easily, adjusting little things, allowing bigger issues to be fragmented toward gradual results.

No more ignoring yourself or feeling out of sorts, establish strength in all areas of body, mind and spirit . Brave your life, it’s trials and tribulations, acting accordingly to rectify your confidence, learning to live easily in your body and brain. Try improving behavior and attitude, and developing talents and ideas. You may not live in the prettiest area, but start enjoying and thriving in your living space and surroundings. Look for finding purpose in your job, it might only be to bring comfort to your family or to yourself. Establish grace in your social life, seeing the good in others. Do not be someone you are not, and access your needs. Tune in to know what you are doing right and what you are doing wrong, where are you working against yourself. You can certainly see when others are out of whack, questioning their appearance, unhappiness, boisterousness, boundary issues, self absorption, mental issues, self destruction, wasted time, and unused talent. We get self conscious or too busy in the outer world to work on ourselves and sometimes lose our way. Use the gravitational pull to clear your life, allow angst and insecurities to leave your psyche. Come back to you, The Real You…

Journal Questions:

Take a notebook with you into your bathroom or full length mirror – create notes on how you can change your appearance, Try not to be mean to yourself, make observations – don’t be self loathing. Critique, not criticize… Write down all nice things about yourself. What do you feel about your spirit, your capacity for love, your interest in knowledge, your connection with nature. Create some real time with yourself. Do this with your clothes on and off, be vulnerable even to yourself. Meditate for a few minutes on being really alright with who you are. Soothe your soul. Be connected to your mind, spirit, body and the earth…

Life is an evolving process. It will take us on rides of passion and pleasure to the very depths of despair. At times we consider life sheer madness, and the universe random and thoughtless. That’s when our survival instincts kick in. We strive for hopefulness, mercy and grace. From the deepest parts of ourselve’s we hold on and maneuver the ups and downs, transformation and harmonizing will bring us great wonder and some satisfaction.

“There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique, and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium; and be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is, not how it compares with other expression. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. No artist is pleased. There is no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is on a queer, divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others.”

13* Pisces New Moon

13*Pisces New Moon

By Tara Sutphen

13* Pisces New Moon (no moon – starry dark sky, the time of dreaming), culminating March 4, 2011. This Pisces New Moon is the darkest and deepest of dreaming. How deep can you speak to your conscious and subconscious mind, going inward to reconstruct and sway yourself to thrive at life. There is an unreasonableness that we all grapple with, tempers, anger, stubbornness, loneliness, unhappiness, laziness, unworthiness and it takes an inner dialogue to remedy and balance our motives and intent. Without this unease we might react superficially through mishaps or hardships, but it’s usually radar to take a step into being more thoughtful and releasing problems. If we can’t shake our worries, fears and phobias, some of us stay in misery, denial and downright lost. We have to find that formula to gain insight on what needs to change and why. And this is that time, where we delve very deep, reaching further than we usually go with ourselves to give those pep talks and create antidotes.

Most of the time, when we look at the experiences that really hurt us, we can begin to break the cycle of connection to those people, places or things. From a deep rooted perspective, we must energetically let go of what holds us back from attaining love, jobs and career, happiness and great health. And to move on we recognize the fear and begin progress. Really letting go, usually when we reach adulthood we’ve been hurt by others plenty and must remember not to hurt ourselves. In our frustration or karma we can live out drama or trauma or get stuck and can’t make a move. I’m not talking about real tragedy for we know how painful that can be. And to overcome a sense of helplessness is daunting. That too must be examined and soothed. It’s good to have a refreshing cry, but it’s not good to cry every day. We shouldn’t stay locked in a deep space just as we shouldn’t be too on the surface.

For a whole month we are allowed to look closely at our pain and its origin and how to fix it as best we can by next new moon when we go rushing into life full on. For it’s to rest as well, deeply resting the organs, cells, and blood, the core of our being, our spirit…allowing all the pressure to float away as we intellectualize the process. And if we’re holding onto suffering we can unlock the energy attached, you may not be able to put into words how that force is locked to your body but you can release all trauma and unease.

Loneliness affects much of the population. Self criticism hinders many from taking a chance at change, money or love. Try and look at the consequences of your speech, your manners toward others, your reactions to relatives, friends and the general public, and also how you treat yourself. Regard others as you want to be viewed and respected. Value yourself. Look deeply at all areas and if you need to correct a few of the bad habits, let it begin. Slowly and with grace, know that every day is a new day and it is yours to begin again. It is never too late…

But you now, you wear your soul on your sleeve, exhausting your energy, propping yourself up on a tree, mumbling, or bent over your desk, asleep. Heaven gives you a form and you wear it out by pointless argument. ~Chuang Tzu (c.360 BC – c. 275 BC) early most significant interpreter of Taoism

Full Snow Moon

Full Snow Moon

By Tara Sutphen

The Snow Moon at 29* Leo will culminate Feb 18, 12:36am pst/ 3:36am est (almanac) This moon is about being powerful and ambitious. It can rock the boat as all of a sudden you feel carefree and reckless. Aquarius allows you to perceive the vision and Leo is taking claim. Normality seems lifeless and boring. Drama may take hold of your heart or your words. Shaking up the status quo, your desire to have what you want and not knowing why you sometimes want it. Many times what we desire seems out of reach.

Why don’t we always go after what we want. We can find ourselves in dead end jobs, unhappy relationships, un daunting incidents and we certainly know how we got there but did we take one wrong turn and it keeps leading to bad and bitter circumstance’s. Where’s the correct road to move towards the destiny that ultimately labels ‘perfection’. How does one get back on track. Is it the shake up or are you looking to gain perspective, the first application might be to recognize that something is wrong. Look at the good and bad happening in your life. If you aren’t making money, gaining love or happiness, what can you do if you are stuck.

Life is a bit of a puzzle, the pieces to complete the picture will be different for everyone. But there is a common thread of decency and human dignity. Abiding by the laws of the earth are foremost the path of fulfilling contentment. Those laws are free flowing boundary integration, there is enough light to make things grow – but what happens when things grow too big with power or greed. There is enough water to sustain everyone and everything also land to appreciate and care for – but what about pollution. There are children to love and help prosper – but how do we handle problems. Everything we are allowed to fix, develop and accomplish are gifts. We forget we are a living miracle and must try and stay conscious to that fact. We have a capacity to have faith in ourselves.

How to become unstuck:

  • What is your dream

Robert Friedman – Book Publisher

Tara Sutphen interviews

ROBERT FRIEDMAN

Robert Friedman has been in book publishing since 1974. Co-founded Hampton Roads in 1989. Founded Rainbow Ridge in 2010.

Published over a thousand books, including five New York Times
bestsellers. First publisher and discoverer of the world-famous
Conversations with God series by Neale Donald Walsch.

Milton’s Secret is his first published book. Robert has four children.
Robert Friedman has a B.A. in English from University of Virginia, and an M.F.A. in Writing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He lives near Charlottesville, VA.

Robert Friedman, my publisher on “Soul Agreements” and I have become very good friends over the years. I love conversing over meals on our shared friends and fun stories. He knew Jess Stearn very well, and as many of you know Jess meant the world to me. How Robert describes Jess’ observations and antidotes tickle me pink. Robert has very much the understated humor and observations that Jess had. Always enjoyable you are Robert. Here’s some questions and answers on the publishing world according to Robert…

T: When you choose books…do you pick one because you like it and think others will?

R : I do have to like it, of course, but just as important is whether or not I think we can distribute and sell it. Sometimes we love a particular book but don’t think we can get the book buyers to take, or just don’t think we can reach the particular audience that would buy it.

T: What are some of the qualities you look for in books?

R: Uniqueness, good writing of course, an interesting voice, an engaging subject that may not have been written about before.

T: When did you get into publishing?

R: In the fall of 1974, with my first company, The Donning Company/Publishers. I co-founded Hampton Roads in 1989, and retired in 2009. Now I’m doing a small line of spiritual/metaphysical books called Rainbow Ridge Books, which is distributed by Square One Publishing in New York.

T: Tell me about your college education?

R: B.A. in English from the University of Virginia; M.F.A. in Writing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro; and a couple years post-graduate work in American Literature at the University College of Swansea, University of Wales.

T: What area of publishing do you specialize?

R: Spiritual/Metaphysical/Self-Help, though I have published in almost all genres at one time or another. Even cookbooks.

T: Upbeat books or sad stories? Which are you attracted to and what do you think sells in the spiritual realm or genre?

R: I think books that are practical and help people to learn and do for themselves are my favorites. Good stories are entertaining in fiction and in certain non-fiction books, but I think the main purpose of any good book is to teach people something they don’t know and then give them the opportunity to make it work in their own lives.

T: How many NY best sellers have you published?
R: Five. Conversations with God, Book 1 (softcover). Conversations with God, Book 1 (hardcover Putnam edition); Conversations with God, Book 2; Conversations with God, Book 3, Excuse Me, Your Life is Waiting by Lynn Grabhorn; When Everything Changes, Change Everything by Neale Donald Walsch.

T: What are the spiritual qualities that you look for?

R: Books that promote oneness, a way to truth, not the way to truth, that demonstrate that we are more than our physical body, that we are evolving spiritual beings having a physical experience, that as the Beatles said, love is all there is.

T: Did you know when you published those books that they had a certain magic or charm?

R: Yes, one has opinions about that, though others may have different opinions.

T: Which books are a total surprise?

R: The really good ones that don’t sell.

T: And which books did you think would be popular — but don’t do as well as they should?

R: Too many to name.

T: Who are your mentors and inspiration?

R: Edgar Cayce, Jane Roberts, Richard Bach, Hermann Hesse, Raymond Moody, Neale Donald Walsch, many more.

T: Who was your favorite author or authors when you were young?

R: Albert Payson Terhune, who wrote all those books about collies.

T: Talk about loving what you do and that inner passion creates your path?

R: I feel as if I came to the planet with the purpose, which is to disseminate information about the true nature of the universe, who we really are and why we’re here. Publishing is one of the ways to do that job, and I have been very fortunate to be able to work in the art and business of publishing for so long.

T: When you suffer from doubt? Which spiritual teachers, quotes, reading’s do you turn to?

R: I re-read Conversations with God, which I think is one of the most profound and enlightening series of books ever written.

T: Do you believe you are on a spiritual mission?

R: As mentioned above, I feel that I do have a mission to fulfill.

T: Do you think your being a publisher is connected to a past life?

R: I believe we are living many lives simultaneously, and there are connections between in energetic ways. So, yes, a “past” or “future” life is definitely impacting this one, as mine may be influencing theirs.

T: I am an Author through your company with the book, Soul Agreements – but I’m tied to you also through Jess Stearn. And you published a book for him when and the name of it is?

R: Elvis’ Spiritual Journey, which he wrote with Elvis’ former hairdresser. An interesting book, but not that impactful unfortunately. Most Elvis fans didn’t care much about his spirituality.

T: What Advice would you give a budding writer?

R: Read voraciously, learn your craft, never give up if you have the fire in the belly to write.

T: What do you see as the formula of winning words and works?

R: There is no formula, there is only writing truly and from the heart.

T: When you see a winning writer, do you believe it’s karma or just good luck, good work ethics, or good marketing?

R: By winning, I suppose you mean commercially successful. I think a winning writer is one who writes well, writes truly, writes from the heart, and doesn’t necessarily have to make a lot of money from his/her writing.

T: Is book selling a lot about marketing?

R: It can be, but many books make it only on word of mouth. Nobody really knows why one good writer sells and another good writer doesn’t. Sometimes writers can spend even a million dollars on marketing, and still not sell.

T: Talk to me about the book you wrote?

R: It’s called Milton’s Secret: An Adventure of Discovery through Then, When, and the Power of Now. I co-wrote it with Eckhart Tolle, and it’s about teaching children some of Eckhart’s principles about how to live in the moment. It’s also very practical in dealing with life’s difficult situations.

T: And about your friend and fellow author who wrote with you?

R: Eckhart is too well known for me to describe him. Suffice it to say that he lives his work, that he is a kind, gentle, very spiritual man who is one of the great teachers on the planet.

T: How do you feel authors do when thrust into the public really fast?

R: Some do fine, others can’t take the notoriety. Depends on the author and how well they are able to walk the talk.

T: How can they best handle the adulation or the popularity?

R: By centering themselves and recognizing just how dangerous the ego can be.

T: What are attributes that you feel help a person to succeed as a person in the public eye?

R: Again, everybody is different. Doing quiet mediation every day will certainly help. Knowing who you are, and that you are no different or better than the lowliest bum on the street may help too.

T: Is there a work ethic, a formula that you see that helps a writer be successful?

R: Every writer needs to find their own best rhythm and work habits, and then have the discipline to follow them.

T: What are your upcoming projects?

R: A new line of books called Rainbow Ridge (see http://www.rainbowridgebooks.com); a documentary I am co-producing with Neale Donald Walsch called iGOD; and a film based on Milton’s Secret, being produced by Barnet Bain.

T: Will you co-write or write on your own?

R: I’m open to both.

T: Is it just the quality of my writing or does my appearance/age/personality matter?

R: Quality always matters most. Some publishers don’t like to publish senior citizens because their careers won’t last as long. Sad, but true. And if you’re a movie star, you will get published, even if someone else has to write it.

T: Can I submit my work to more than one agent / publisher at a time?

R: Yes, until you sign with an agent you can shop all you like.

T: Why won’t they tell me why they haven’t accepted someone’s work?

R: They simply don’t have the time. Too many people are submitting to them. They’re not obligated to tell everyone why they don’t want to take them on.

T: How long should I expect them to take to reply.

R: Don’t know. Depends on the work load. Unless a book comes through an agent, they may never reply.

T: Many writing venues seem to want only works from already published writers. How would you suggest one begin if no one even wants to consider my work?

R: Be persistent. It takes time to find an editor who likes you work. Publishers don’t reject manuscripts, editors do. Sometimes an editor in the same publishing house will reject something and another editor will buy it.

Thanking Robert Friedman for sharing his wisdom and experiences with us.

“You have the need and the right to spend part of your life caring for your soul. It is not easy. You have to resist the demands of the work-oriented, often defensive, element in your psyche that measures life only in terms of output — how much you produce — not in terms of the quality of your life experiences. To be a soulful person means to go against all the pervasive, prove-yourself values of our culture and instead treasure what is unique and internal and valuable in yourself and your own personal evolution.”

13* Aquarius New Moon

13*Aquarius New Moon

By Tara Sutphen

13* Aquarius New Moon (no moon – starry dark sky, the time of dreaming), culminating February 3, 2011. This Aquarius New Moon is about how you envision the future for yourself. Your destiny will enfold as your mind, voice and actions dictate. We can be in situations that we think or wish we didn’t put ourselves in. Do you stay stuck in the past, wishing for things to be different, speaking of days gone by, or converse of pain to dissect over and over. We want to tap into our emotions and feelings but we have to know when to let things go. Moving on and growing from the lessons that we’ve endured, making them “work for us instead of against us” time for newness and future possibilities. We have patterns and cycles, where sometimes we put ourselves and others down, or have a bleak outlook, instead of sparking conversation of ideas, hobbies and events. You know what hasn’t worked before. You may not tap into what doesn’t work for you, but you know, because it’s the pain and uneasy feelings. It’s the confusion and the chaos. It’s the anger and low self-esteem. Sometimes we don’t allow our best selves to shine, carrying neglect deep in our hearts and soul. Feeling unworthy to eat well, or to keep strong, disappointments bring judgment on ourselves and the people around us. And other people can spark that harshness. For others can break your heart if you allow them to do so, or make you cry in bitterness or anguish.

Do you put yourself in last place for everything, ie. love, money, food, fun, laughter, friendship, happiness. You may want and need to share, but be resourceful and good to yourself. Keeping a good attitude and changing to conscious behavior is a start…you can now begin to burst forth – just as spring in a few months. It’s easy to get stuck with the expectations of others and self-denial, it’s easy to fall into a rut and not make any moves to get out of the situations that have you programmed. How do you expect your life to look like, feel like, and be. It’s time to dream and speak of the future and move slowly in that direction.

You’ll need to take action, nothing overt, assess gentleness, resolve feelings and start to flow with facts. As daily we can accumulate more worry, paralyzing fear and uneasy feelings. All problems have solutions. Clarification brings sound resolution. Every day make a little effort to work at solving a problem or issues, adding a personal goal and aspiration. You don’t need to stumble anymore, feel guilty or pent up. Stay steady to being responsible to your life and others is important. We live up to being a good son or daughter, we live up to being a good father or mother, we live up to being a good friend, we live up to taking care of our loved ones, we live up to being part of a community, we live up to our better self if we allow ourselves to do so.

The sky is the limit, there are no barriers. Limitations are self-imposed. Stand up and breathe freedom. Breathe deep again and enrich your self-esteem. Breathe all the way to the bottom of your stomach. You can progress, cast away recklessness, abandonment, burdens or restless apprehension. Breathe in Life.

Full Wolf Moon

Full Wolf Moon

By Tara Sutphen

The Wolf Moon is at 29* Cancer will culminate January 19, 2011 1:22pm pst/ 4:22pm est (almanac) This is a time to be nestled in for winter, bringing our consciousness toward our loved ones, family and the home. As humans we often concentrate on being unreasonable, and we can’t seem to remove the blinders or take the time to hear others. We forget it’s a conscious choice to live a beautiful life and that it is ours by birthright.

Yourself: Our thoughts can predominate in an area of looking inward or outside ourselves. With inward thinking, either you are building a perfect human by creating love, happiness, wisdom, solutions and good judgment or you’re downgrading to being mean to yourself, spiraling toward worm status. Worm status is when you think of yourself as lowly and not deserving. You could even be berating and calling yourself or others bad names, lowering your self esteem even further. Recognize the time is now never tomorrow to build yourself. You may not be able to turn behavior, reaction or proactive overnight, but it will all be worth taking the necessary steps to try. And if you need help, there are lots of articles to read for inspiration and tips and maybe you need to start talking to a neutral therapist, a guidance counselor or wise relative. Learn to create smooth relationships and peacefulness. Your home life should be a haven. Work life is goals and competitiveness. All areas of your life should bring fulfillment.

Parents: All parents should take time to “listen” to their children at any age. If they feel you are not listening to them, they sometimes try to entertain you or act out dangerously or rudely. Gently remind them to be safe and use common sense. Know when you are giving them too much advice or being too playful. If you are an imbiber know that all drugs and alcohol do not lead to the palace of wisdom, many times you teach your kids not only to be scared of you but also to be fearful of life. We all have problems, seek solutions. Sometimes chaos has ensued and parents grapple for control, no matter the age of said child, it takes time to re-establish peace and order, persevere and it can happen. You are a parent living up to your thoughts of what parenthood should be. You will always be a parent once you are one. Welcome to real life. Remember parents never give up, they rest a little or find help but you never give up hope and the promises you envisioned when your children were born.

Children: No matter the age, children need to find wonderful possibilities in the world. Playing and bantering are expressions of the interaction they’re creating for the future. Parents, teachers, friends and foes will help them find ways to find support and become individuals. When you feel their pent up energy guide them toward something constructive, so they easily find their way toward education, exercise, inspiration, laughter, curiosity and self expression. Allow grandiose excitement at times and moments of silence and pondering, it allows for healthy living. Be kind to your children for they grow far too fast. Sadly we hear our forefathers speak of their children often growing up not to fulfill their expectations and children aren’t in sync with the parent’s ideas or ways of thinking. We must remember not to live in a small realm, children are born of the big world with all the trends of their tomorrow. They ready themselves for their lifestyles and the future. It is not for us to question, but to embrace. If they are in trouble, we gently lead them back to safety. And that goes for children taking care of their parents too…lead them back to safety.

Lovers/Spouses: To be Loved you must be Loving……..Keep at it. We are a part of a big plan, not everything goes smoothly but we must have faith and hope. Love is always the answer.

Astrology: Sun Sign Change

Astrology: Sun Sign change
By Tara Sutphen

Ami asked me to explain the new sun signs change, as it is confusing her….Tara’s answer: When you are born your mathematics of your astrology are set…no matter what system of astrology that you decide to have for a reading. I use Western & Eastern Astrology combined. Some of the Ephemeris may be off for a progression, and isn’t readable unless you are an Astrology student. The Astrology computer software companies calculate to the new mathematics w. updates. It really only affects the children born of tomorrow, readjusting the few degrees of the poles light arc from the sun and how it is calculated to the tropics and different latitude and longitude points, etc. That astronomer who muddied waters doesn’t follow astrology, he follows space and it’s phenomena. And…that’s wonderful. As we reach further into space some Astrology and it’s math need to be adjusted. They are also saying it’s 13 signs now, but the Julian/Gregorian Calendar made it 12. Asia & Middle East were never on the Western Calendar system…they may have adapted….bottom line…we look at the fun of new discoveries and see if they mean anything to us. As an Esoteric Astrologer I’m a reader of mathematics, the names of things mean nothing – the calculations are everything. I look forward to the research 🙂 I hope this helps.

As the great Astrologer Terry Nazon says….Real Astronomers wouldn’t concern themselves w/Sidereal Astrology they would try to discover new planets, stars & life on other planets.

13* Capricorn New Moon

13* Capricorn New Moon

By Tara Sutphen

13* Capricorn New Moon with partial eclipse (no moon – starry dark sky, the time of dreaming), culminating January 4, 2011. This Capricorn New Moon is about clarity. What’s on your mind that you can speak directly and clearly, with a level head. Capricorn is about calculation, capability and proficiency. It’s not about what you’d like to do, it’s about what you can and will do. How you achieve in the world and where you belong. There is no fanciful dancing in sugar fluff fields when Capricorn is in charge. And this moon is about speaking what you need and why you need it. It’s not about what your family needs, lovers want or communicating with other people. It’s about “you” and what you possess in daily abilities and survival instinct. Taking the time to learn who you are in the world and making a better place for yourself. You have a pretty good idea what hasn’t worked in the past and must be assessed. This is grounded thought and speaking, not fanciful ideas on flitting from job to job, or changing careers every ten minutes. How do you secure your life, making money and managing time. What are your upcoming plans on a very mundane and daily level. What is your role in your job or career. What are your skills. It can be as easy as cooperation, organizing or having a strong energy current. Sometimes we try to do everything and we can’t figure what is our cleverness or uniqueness. We can be blind to what we excel in and recognizing ability.

Your mind may shift from clear thought to a next sequence of escape and self sabotage. Are you in an anxious or fretful state, not remembering how to get from A to B to C. Do you write out lists and decisions, do you talk over game plan with friends or family. Are you someone who thinks of a schedule and can carry it out or do you go into a spin of what to do and why. Trouble with your tasks at hand, not being able to focus can mean you are spending too much time multi-tasking, not relaxing, not sleeping, not getting enough nutrition, not following through on details, excess weight, stagnation or boredom. Unless you have been physically ill, and need to organize your time to best heal. Do you start projects but can’t finish or witness someone close to you experiencing continual ungrounded behavior and habits.

Getting your thoughts straight, priorities on track, and your voice and speaking ability clearly stating your necessities and creating life in your home and work space. Every day should be productive on some level. You ate nutritionally, you spoke well, you moved your body around, or you smiled. You took time to recognize your abilities, they can stem from handiness to mastery.

Focusing is one of the ways to gain a clearer perspective. Becoming thoughtful rather than obsessive, responsive rather than heedless, rational rather than reactive – allowing space for thought and perseverance.

“Real life is, to most men, a long second-best, a perpetual compromise between the ideal and the possible; but the world of pure reason knows no compromise, no practical limitations, no barrier to the creative activity.”

~Bertrand Russell (English Logician and Philosopher 1872-1970)
