Full Flower Moon

Full Strawberry Moon

By Tara Sutphen

The Flower Moon is at 26* Scorpio will culminate May 17, 2011 4:08pm pst/ 8:08pm est (almanac). This Full Moon is an opportunity to evaluate how you create resources through your job. Have you been effective as well as productive. Can you bring into position your values with making money, your principles may need to match your ideology. Believing in yourself and attaching importance to your career creates a valuable lifestyle. It’s easy to tolerate a passable job. Majority of people get by with not thinking life is too bad, ending up with living in places they didn’t want to be and in jobs that run them ragged, knowing if they really thought it out, they could come to a conclusion of where is it all going. When you act in self interest logically and sensibly you can move your life into what you want in every aspect. It’s not about packing your bags and immediately moving randomly without plans, it’s time to get those tactics in place and then progress.

How is clarity found – First of all, what is not working, sometimes we can differentiate what is wrong before we recognize what is effective, useful and helpful. There are many signs that give us indications that it’s time for a change or to elevate status and/or education. These signals can be an unpleasant boss or co-worker, money is sparse, heavy workload, no gain, bad behavior (yours or others) and many different grievances. Evaluating all these unacceptable feelings, attitudes, and objectionable actions and being honest with what you need and want. We are often stuck with problems, not feeling like we can break free. Taking a few minutes to breathe, be mindful of not overreacting when making decisions, as one simple and easy solution can be all it takes. We must create balance, “our mind meets our voice meets our actions”. It only takes one step on the road to improvement.

The Power of Asking

The Power of Asking

By Tara Sutphen

I have this little sorcing story to tell…When the Tsunami happened in Japan, I looked out to the sea and knew this could easily be me and my beloved family, friends and pets…I thought wow, I could harbor a nice Japanese family, and then I became a little emotional and said, I really hope my friend, Michael Walker living in Japan for 11 years is safe and if I need to harbor him — I will.

I met Michael in the early 90’s in London. He is Australian and was on a London Cricket Team. We both had this love of Edinburgh, Scotland and spent many tea’s going over where was best and why. The Children and I remained pen pals with him when he went home to Australia. In his letters he would say…come do seminars in Sydney. We’ve met up with him across Europe and Australia many times.

He is now at my house.

Fly Butterfly

Fly Butterfly

In our lifetime will we become the butterfly instead of the caterpillar. Look at the caterpillar with it’s 3 sets of legs and 8 eyes, it leisurely slinks along the ground, drags the earth and slowly gets to where it wants to go until it uses it’s ability to transform. Once in the cocoon, growing, deep in thought and plans for the change. Emerging brand new, forming beauty and wonder, flying and no longer crawling. The butterfly flies with grace and easily lands on soft flowers instead of dirt. The metaphor is much like us as humans, we go slowly and deliberately feeling half blind at times with narrow ideas and untried measures until we soon get tired of not taking steps to right our lives. Knowing we must change into our best and highest selves, striving toward securing our lives. And once we are the butterfly to spread light and love to anyone in our path. We all need assurance and the will to accomplish, to try new things. A butterfly tastes with it’s feet. How do we get to butterfly status. We don’t want to wait till we die to know, we want it now…on earth.~Tara Sutphen

13* Taurus New Moon

13* Taurus New Moon

By Tara Sutphen

13* Taurus New Moon (no moon – starry dark sky, the time of dreaming), culminating May 3, 2011. This Taurus New Moon is all about security and how you survive on a daily basis. This can be about money, your job, how you present yourself, what title you position your job, what learning you’ve done to become a specialist or an authority. First you should have training. The objective and your course usually isn’t easily conquered in a week or a month, it can take a little while to become skilled at a craft or career. Leaping into anything only works sometimes, and very rarely. Establishing oneself from the ground up and everyday is a rendezvous of labor and effort, in some way. This is not always easy, yet we choose work for our well-being and most often it was our own choice. And if we find ourselves in situations that were not our selection, how do we create the life we want to live, so we don’t become full of angst and feeling stuck.

We can find what we are passionate about, having to make sure it’s a realistic or practical enough to establish. If we feel confused, we can ask our friends and family for their opinions. We may need to brace ourselves, as they may not coddle our feelings. But you do want to keep all of their views in mind. And there are ways to promote yourself and your business prospects. If it’s a good idea or vision you will be able to spark others with your enthusiasm or new found identity. Remembering to be subtle and richly share.

There are easy ways to exchange ideas and helpfulness, other’s follow the lead and begin to support what is needed. You notice when you are being enriched by others either spiritually, emotionally, mentally or physically. Try to remain within these guidelines, using your intuition and gut reaction to positive outcome. When this isn’t the case and others are not willing to share or participate – especially if you are pulling more than half the load, it could be time to admit they need to learn without you. Many people can resent you or the situation, if you give, give, give and it may be you projecting on them your need to be liked or accepted. Recognize when you are not letting go of someone needing to find their own path. We want control, but we also want what is right for those we like or feel devotion toward.

Communicating how we present ourselves can be important. Being who we want to become is central.
