Sedona Mystic Training

with Tara Sutphen

The Mystic Training is learning to tap into excellence and merit on our human journey through the exploration of psychic knowledge and connection with the other side. Insight leads us out of vagueness. Not everyone seeks to decipher past blunders or catch a glimpse of the future as it might unfold, but those who do want to search for meaning to their dilemmas and gain confidence to live an important and rewarding life. Opening the five senses leads to deeper- consciousness. Countless are predominant in one or two areas of reaction, never allowing the full range of sensations to enter their mind. Tara will lead exercises into opening the five zones of perceiving.

And delving into the realm of the other side using meditation techniques to invoke contact with our dearly departed, the Holy Ones and Helpers. Tara instructs how to regulate personal vibrancy and align to the flow of materialization. These types of Sorcing exercises were taught among the Egyptians, Druids, Shaman, Priests, and Monks in the great Mystery Schools of the World.

Learning to manifest the splendor in all things, we want our relationships, love, success, happiness, family, great health, money, knowledge, wisdom to be the best it can be. Tara will help you unblock your psychic centers and assist you to make contact with your Mystics, Spirit Guides and Higher-Self for guidance. Happy Summer Solstice

Summer  Solstice, Midsummer, Litha

By Tara Sutphen

21st June

“In the world’s audience hall, the simple blade of grass sits on the same carpet with the sunbeams, and the stars of midnight” – Rabindranath Tagore (Indian Poet, Playwright and Essayist, Won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1913, 1861-1941)

Summer Solstice marks the end of the waxing year.  And the rays of the sun directly strike one of the two tropical latitude lines.  June 21 marks the beginning of summer in the northern hemisphere, as  winter begins in the southern hemisphere. On this day, the earth’s “circle of luminescence” will be from the Arctic Circle to the Antarctic Circle. The equator receives twelve hours of daylight, as there will be 24 hours of daylight at the North Pole and 24 hours of darkness at the South Pole. All over the world people honor this day as an important reminder of the apex of light and to cast away evil and their problems. Northern Hemisphere inhabitants use June 21 as the day of celebration, but the splendor of light lasts from new moon to full moon.

Worshipping the Sun’s great power, all cultures celebrate in some way. Celts and Slavs dance around bonfires while Chinese marked the day honoring Li, the Goddess of Light. The celebrants of modern and ancient ceremonies tune in that life comes from the sun. It is life giving and life supporting.  We’ve recently had the good fortune to have electricity, greenhouses, and shipment suppliers. How will you celebrate? We all may not get a chance to dance around the bonfire but it’s a time to bask in the light, sit in the sun, cast our worries away and awaken to our lives.

Full Moon of Horses

Full Moon of Horses

By Tara Sutphen

Full Moon of Horses at 24* Sagittarius will culminate June 15, 2011 1:13pm pdt/4:13pm edt (almanac) with a Total Eclipse. This Full Moon called by its Celtic name – “Moon of Horses” is an opportunity to evaluate how you handle your emotions and the extremes you find yourself at times. With the moon comes a most powerful time of the earth’s seas being moved by the gravitational pull of the earth and with a total eclipse, you may be feeling even more restless or sensitive. Usually aspects take you off of your demonstrative nature. But not this full moon, it’s set in the fixed star Aculeus, thus setting the aspect in the Scorpion’s tail. The unrest may be drumming up unfinished business in the most peaceful of people. Where do things go amiss and where do things go correctly. Decisions, have they been right or wrong. Are you using your personal power or mismanaging it. Do you even express what you deem influence and potential. Are you capable of so much more and unable to crest your energy to activate skill and talent. You can’t have talent unless you make the effort to risk and try.

Everyone has a rage level, we were born with it and must learn to manage it. Although for some reason many people don’t handle anger correctly at the time and a morass of confusion precipitates. Inferiority, resentment, irritation can go on for some time before we are willing to look at what doesn’t create an environment to thrive. Are you assertive and confident or having aggressive tendencies. Aggression is when you find your-self yelling at others aimlessly, becoming insistent, and uncompromising and with passive behavior locked emotionally away in an imprisoned set of rules and agony. How can we use defeat to further ourselves as we bumbe ahead, clumsily allowing our lives to be perplexed and sometimes it’s hurtful, if not slowly or unwittingly destroying ours or others lives. Where does insight begin, and does it make or break us.

A first thought would be to start making ourselves strong in body. When we feel good, generally we are confident. We have the wit to say yes and no to good or bad. As we regain a course of action, focus on a target and add intensity, these can be used as a tool toward a direction. Sounds easy, putting it into action is always the test…as we can dream and talk, talk and talk more. We can make a conscious decision to use an upset as a ‘road sign’ to move in another direction, this can give movement to actions and reactions, bringing greater circumstances into a personal sphere. You take the high road or low road…it’s that simple.

Deliberation is the banal of focus and to create a life of vivid beauty we must put up with some degree of disdain and unruliness. This does not bode well for all who seek peace and gentleness, but even in nature there must be a yin to the yang. To become one with ourselves we must accept all the facets of our innate fear and shadows, for to cast light on them will bring us out of darkness.

Full Flower Moon

Full Strawberry Moon

By Tara Sutphen

The Flower Moon is at 26* Scorpio will culminate May 17, 2011 4:08pm pst/ 8:08pm est (almanac). This Full Moon is an opportunity to evaluate how you create resources through your job. Have you been effective as well as productive. Can you bring into position your values with making money, your principles may need to match your ideology. Believing in yourself and attaching importance to your career creates a valuable lifestyle. It’s easy to tolerate a passable job. Majority of people get by with not thinking life is too bad, ending up with living in places they didn’t want to be and in jobs that run them ragged, knowing if they really thought it out, they could come to a conclusion of where is it all going. When you act in self interest logically and sensibly you can move your life into what you want in every aspect. It’s not about packing your bags and immediately moving randomly without plans, it’s time to get those tactics in place and then progress.

How is clarity found – First of all, what is not working, sometimes we can differentiate what is wrong before we recognize what is effective, useful and helpful. There are many signs that give us indications that it’s time for a change or to elevate status and/or education. These signals can be an unpleasant boss or co-worker, money is sparse, heavy workload, no gain, bad behavior (yours or others) and many different grievances. Evaluating all these unacceptable feelings, attitudes, and objectionable actions and being honest with what you need and want. We are often stuck with problems, not feeling like we can break free. Taking a few minutes to breathe, be mindful of not overreacting when making decisions, as one simple and easy solution can be all it takes. We must create balance, “our mind meets our voice meets our actions”. It only takes one step on the road to improvement.

The Power of Asking

The Power of Asking

By Tara Sutphen

I have this little sorcing story to tell…When the Tsunami happened in Japan, I looked out to the sea and knew this could easily be me and my beloved family, friends and pets…I thought wow, I could harbor a nice Japanese family, and then I became a little emotional and said, I really hope my friend, Michael Walker living in Japan for 11 years is safe and if I need to harbor him — I will.

I met Michael in the early 90’s in London. He is Australian and was on a London Cricket Team. We both had this love of Edinburgh, Scotland and spent many tea’s going over where was best and why. The Children and I remained pen pals with him when he went home to Australia. In his letters he would say…come do seminars in Sydney. We’ve met up with him across Europe and Australia many times.

He is now at my house.

Fly Butterfly

Fly Butterfly

In our lifetime will we become the butterfly instead of the caterpillar. Look at the caterpillar with it’s 3 sets of legs and 8 eyes, it leisurely slinks along the ground, drags the earth and slowly gets to where it wants to go until it uses it’s ability to transform. Once in the cocoon, growing, deep in thought and plans for the change. Emerging brand new, forming beauty and wonder, flying and no longer crawling. The butterfly flies with grace and easily lands on soft flowers instead of dirt. The metaphor is much like us as humans, we go slowly and deliberately feeling half blind at times with narrow ideas and untried measures until we soon get tired of not taking steps to right our lives. Knowing we must change into our best and highest selves, striving toward securing our lives. And once we are the butterfly to spread light and love to anyone in our path. We all need assurance and the will to accomplish, to try new things. A butterfly tastes with it’s feet. How do we get to butterfly status. We don’t want to wait till we die to know, we want it now…on earth.~Tara Sutphen

13* Taurus New Moon

13* Taurus New Moon

By Tara Sutphen

13* Taurus New Moon (no moon – starry dark sky, the time of dreaming), culminating May 3, 2011. This Taurus New Moon is all about security and how you survive on a daily basis. This can be about money, your job, how you present yourself, what title you position your job, what learning you’ve done to become a specialist or an authority. First you should have training. The objective and your course usually isn’t easily conquered in a week or a month, it can take a little while to become skilled at a craft or career. Leaping into anything only works sometimes, and very rarely. Establishing oneself from the ground up and everyday is a rendezvous of labor and effort, in some way. This is not always easy, yet we choose work for our well-being and most often it was our own choice. And if we find ourselves in situations that were not our selection, how do we create the life we want to live, so we don’t become full of angst and feeling stuck.

We can find what we are passionate about, having to make sure it’s a realistic or practical enough to establish. If we feel confused, we can ask our friends and family for their opinions. We may need to brace ourselves, as they may not coddle our feelings. But you do want to keep all of their views in mind. And there are ways to promote yourself and your business prospects. If it’s a good idea or vision you will be able to spark others with your enthusiasm or new found identity. Remembering to be subtle and richly share.

There are easy ways to exchange ideas and helpfulness, other’s follow the lead and begin to support what is needed. You notice when you are being enriched by others either spiritually, emotionally, mentally or physically. Try to remain within these guidelines, using your intuition and gut reaction to positive outcome. When this isn’t the case and others are not willing to share or participate – especially if you are pulling more than half the load, it could be time to admit they need to learn without you. Many people can resent you or the situation, if you give, give, give and it may be you projecting on them your need to be liked or accepted. Recognize when you are not letting go of someone needing to find their own path. We want control, but we also want what is right for those we like or feel devotion toward.

Communicating how we present ourselves can be important. Being who we want to become is central.

Full Pink Moon

Full Pink Moon

By Tara Sutphen

The Pink Moon at 27* Libra will culminate April 17, 7:44pm pst/10:44pm est (almanac). The moon is your personal spotlight in the world, as you are on the earth’s stage. This Moon is about creating confidence and wellbeing with others, processing your position of being steady support. What needs to be done to brought into balance is self-assurance. If you aren’t strong how can you expect to move into helping those you love. Relationships need constant directing to create balance. If we stay steady in our health, our emotions, our sense of self then we move into collected development and composure. When we become reliable is when our lives change for the better. Willpower is a key to resolving any weakness. There are those that sink instead of swim, you should never willingly drown. It’s not about detachment, if we all only reach out to help one person, our life will be noble. We know others who take and take or resist and oppose our better nature, abusing graciousness and honor, we need to assess and compare as these are “life’s road signs” pointing us in another direction. If boundaries need to be established then make a start and come into being. Act with kindness and compassion, as benevolence will follow.

13* Aries New Moon

By Tara Sutphen

13* Aries New Moon (no moon – starry dark sky, the time of dreaming), culminating April 3, 2011. This Aries New Moon is all about action. No more procrastination, bring to the fore clear thought, direct speaking and movement. Step up your energy, stretch your arms to the sun and allow it’s radiance to enter your body. And if the sun isn’t out, the light of the day will do. Awaken dear soul…awaken. It is your time on the planet, your purpose awaits you.

Last month we were allowed to look at our pain and it’s origins, this month is about moving past render-less wandering. If you’ve been misunderstood in any way, take deep breaths and come back into your center of being. You are a clear thinking human, no more confusion. Honor the temple of your mind, body and soul. Alight the fire of your passion, isn’t it time to reveal the real you, your true self. Begin by restoring order every day. You know the truth and you speak it gently. You are straightforward on what you want and why you want it. That is not to say that you won’t have to take steps to acquire a wonderful career and job, wisdom and devotion, love and happiness. It can be a process, you deserve a good to great life. We can all own mediocrity but why not move past it. Night dream your perfection, day dream your perfection, step directly into your aptness. Perfection is an essence, there is no such thing as flawlessness but within the capability of our trying there is grace. There is a path before you, activate……….
