This Pisces Full Moon is all about depths. How you linger or lounge in contemplation and introspection. How an idea germinates is often associated with an emotional response to creativity or problem solving. Deep within, one can certainly find and obtain an obscure or hidden flaw needing to come to light and squelched. The first step is “not allow your mind and psyche to fool itself”. You could write down all what you think bothers you. Analysis can liberate stress and issues, such as doubt, fear, upsets, repression, compliances and drama.
When distress is mixed with the Piscine water energy, we look at whether the truth is mixed with illusion or secret motives. There can be an underlying or foggy way of looking at things. Phobias, bad habits, unsavory behavior need to be revised. It can be the simplest putdowns turning a persons sincerity into a bitter struggle, an innocence turning into a scorn or a fight. While blocks and limitations lie close at hand as well. It can take a concerted effort to alleviate what holds you back, especially when you think your faults are often lost or faintly visible. Or you don’t take the time to fix your inner nature.
Inward study or meditation can bring observations into a state of being seen or explored. From that knowledge you begin comprising a compassionate nature and using your intuition to further your objectives. There is a re-focus and it matches a positive outlook. Revising your emotional structure is in the works. You are asked to adjust your attitude. You may be asked to modify in many ways. To be pain-free in every way is the goal.
Humans are on reset: what do we do and how do we go forward. We all have a tool set and competence. Maybe you are missing pieces of your success formula, your health regime, deep wisdom, extra knowledge or your love techniques.

This Full Sturgeon Moon is about going over plans. It’s a time to pause and think things through again. As your future is unfolding you need to be in touch with the times. Thinking, saying and acting in a clear forward way. People are prickly and situations are unclear, and to keep away from the confusion you must make choices and plan for days, weeks and months ahead. Being diligent now will help you through un-chartered waters.
Your future relies on you making these plans upcoming. It’s best to be sensible and not dramatic right now. You’re to activate your dependability. Places, People, jobs and situations should all be looked at and graded from 1-100. And anything below 50 should be diagnosed and reassessed. You can make plans on how things need to be restructured and organized. If you plan for sound changes, rearranging your time, money and circumstances won’t be so disruptive. And it will be your idea, which is how it’s supposed to be,
When making decisions upcoming, remember why you’ve come to this juncture. Are you supposed to be making changes or any sudden moves. Are you supposed to hold sacred space for your family, friends and neighbors. If you’ve been displaced in some way, are you being saved in the long run. Or are you feeling alarmed and somewhat downtrodden. When you stay focused, you can traverse the roadblocks. When there is something you want and the universe keeps saying no. Anxiety play a big role in keeping us stuck and trapped. Aquarius is a “get out of jail free” card. You are to free your mind, free your fears, free your talents and free your repression.

Lughnasadh

Lughnasadh is the harvest and reaping great
rewards, it is also a day of feasting. Lugh, is the Celtic God of Light and this Pagan Sabbat is the midpoint between the Summer Solstice and the Autumn Equinox. Some bake a figure of the “corn god” in bread, and then symbolically sacrifice and eat it. The tradition of eating and sharing the first fruits, vegetables and grains of the season started with Lughnasadh in Ireland. In England, it became the medieval festival known as Lammas day. In keeping with the Lughnasadh tradition, the first grains were offered to the gods, the form of a baked loaf of bread. The loaf was blessed and cut into four pieces, with one piece placed in each corner of the home for good luck.
The non-sporting competitions in festivals were singing, dancing, poetry-reading and storytelling. Trial marriages were performed, couples would join hands through a hole in a slab of wood. The experimental marriage would last one year and a day, after which it was annulled without question.
Celtic festivals like Lughnasadh was an opportune time to make political, social and economic deals. All weapons and rivalry’s were laid down so the neighbors could get to know one another. Chieftains held important meetings, farmers would make trade agreements about crops or cattle for the coming season.
A common tradition of Celtic festivals were to visit holy wells. People would give offerings to the wells and decorate them with flowers and garlands, they could leave coins or clooties (cloth). They would walk around the well in a sun-wise direction praying to the Gods.

Berry Pie
Ingredients:
5 cups fresh blueberries
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 (15 ounce) package refrigerated pie crusts
1 cup sugar
½ cup all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon sugar
Method:
Sprinkle berries with lemon juice; set aside.
Fit half of pastry in a 9-inch pie plate according to package directions.
Combine 1 cup sugar and next 3 ingredients; add to berries, stirring well.
Pour into pastry shell, and dot with butter.
Unfold remaining pastry on a lightly floured surface; roll gently with rolling pin to remove creases in pastry.
Place pastry over filling; seal and crimp edges.
Cut slits in top of crust to allow steam to escape.
Brush top of pastry with beaten egg, and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon sugar
Bake at 400° for 35 minutes or until golden.
Cover edges with aluminum foil to prevent over browning, if necessary.
Serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
