To Become Balanced

We are constantly need to come back to center, being brave and in resonance no matter the outside circumstances. Allow for Grace. What makes you feel at peace, practice that feeling every day.

*How to become balanced:
PHYSICAL: health and the way we treat our cleanliness, posture, and overall treat our bodies is a part where being balanced. Our body is the most precious gift we have and without it we can’t exist. If we don’t stay healthy we certainly can’t enjoy all the other aspects of life.

  1. MENTAL: You want to exercise your mind to keep it working properly. Keep your cognitive abilities sharp. If you don’t take care of your body it will deteriorate, and this can also be true of your mind.
  2. EMOTIONAL: Managing our emotions is important. When engaging with our feelings it’s best to work with our intelligence. I. This way we learn what we want and we can be fulfilled. We need always to resolve our feelings and never be irrational. It’s easy to forget how to manage our emotional world.
    4.SOCIAL: There is a certain amount of human socializing people need. We learn to treat humankind with courtesy and fairness when we are interacting with each other. Sometimes there are wonderful connections we naturally make. Camaraderie and joy can easily be attained. But how about when dissension or bad feelings come up, those need to be handled and dealt with emotionally. Even if you don’t like to interact with people there is a certain spacial sharing humans need.
    5.FINANCES: Whether you are working in a career or a job, it’s important to bring value to your and others lives. We are all a part of a cycle of service to mankind, to ourselves and to our Families. Money is an energetic transference. Learn what your skills are and practice being the best you can be.
    6.SPIRITUAL: The relationship you create between yourself and the universe. You can fight your life every day or you can come into resonance and be in reverence of all the opportunities and possibilities life has your offer you. The Full Beaver Moon (Native American) at 8* Gemini  will culminate, November 30, 2020 1:30am PST/4:30am EST (Farmers Almanac). It is also a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse. When we have an eclipse, it’s time to change or let go of something holding us back. Take time to meditate on what you’d like unblocked or cleaned up in your life as it brings something exciting or illuminating to each of us. 

This Full Beaver Moon is about Communicating on a deeper level. What has been hidden from you will come to light. Something you might have held back will be discussed or revealed. How do you rate yourself as a communicator. Do you have many secrets. What if there are secrets revealed to you. How do you react. Emotionally we aren’t always in touch with how we communicate and if it can be improved upon. 

Communication Tips:

There are simple ways to develop how to speak when we want to be heard. We don’t always convey the most important topics to each other and being a good communicator takes effort. Being able to articulate a concept, solution or decision isn’t always easy. Knowing how to get our point across especially when someone doesn’t see things quite the same as you do can be frustrating. It’s not about dominating a conversation. It’s better to have quality speaking rather than quantity chit-chat. At times there is no way around having a lot of chatter with each other. Humans like the sound of each other, but are they listening? Are you listening? 

When we take the time to listen, we can learn to do things correctly in our lives. From book learning to listening to elders and skilled authorities in any subject. If we listen intently enough, we progress with contributing to our security and well-being. We don’t always get an answer, but we can grow emotionally, intellectually and learn how to take care of ourselves and others. It’s always important to know how to listen and speak when we want to be successful.

Being a leader and doing significant work are important, but to be effective we need to know how to put into practice our communication skills. 

1. Inner Knowing

What are you interested in? Are you building your self-esteem and confidence. What are your personal skills that you’ve developed. They don’t need to be academic or athletic skills, they can be being a good friend, mother, father or liking pets.

2. Sincerity

Connect with others when they are speaking. Your mind takes breathes, so you don’t always hear everything someone is saying to you. It’s easier in life if you are kind and leave everyone with a smile or appreciation.

3. Consistency 

We don’t do any favors to anyone if we can’t keep our word, pull our weight and practice what we preach. Emotional Consistency is a key ingredient to lasting happiness. Integrity to your family and those you love are important.

4. Compromise

Knowing how to share.

5. Listening

Building a bond

6. Be Polite

Everyone deserves respect. 

7. Ask & Receive

Effectively ask questions. The Answers might not always be from the person you asked but if we are patient the answer will not elude us.

8. Sharing

When we help and support others. Others help and support us.

9. Teaching

When we contribute what we know, we allow others to create a way to take care of themselves. Everyone interprets their way of doing things.

What is our recourse. Generally everyone is afraid of making mistakes, but do we make the best selections when we weigh all our options? Where is there opportunity and sometimes with risk, or possibilities of peace. It’s what we decide we’re willing to develop through creating our own reality.  We can pinpoint lucidity or go round and round in confusion. Let Go of Past Blocks

There it was, the image of a young woman hung from the rafters. I knew it was a “witch hanging”, there were layers of petticoats and a dress with a white apron. A sweet young maiden, not a witch at all, she was a nurse and made medicines. Rigor mortis had set in and the feet were purple-black. I didn’t look at the face, I just saw the back of her. Her light brown hair cascading down her lifeless body. 

I was in a Reiki session with Liz Young. I’d asked to “clear any lingering blocks from this life or past lives”.  Liz lays her hands on me, and all of a sudden it’s like she’s using a strong commercial vaccum suction. I start seeing all these visions of men and women in precarious situations. I remind myself to get rid of the cellular residue of however I’m associated with all of it. The energy and odd items are floating off of me, like space debris and shooting past Liz. I’m in pain and wanting to cry out at times. But I keep telling myself “don’t scare Lizzie”. 

I don’t stay with the hanging image, I don’t connect with the place or her name. I just go to the next inner movie, the next set of images and suffering that needs to be cleared. For me I realize it’s my need to release physical pain. I see these stoic, brave and courageous faces of myself in other incarnations, I may have found myself at wrong places and undesirable times, but my valor seems to be a running theme. 

We’ve been having to deal with times of Covid. Every one in the world is changing their way of doing life and love. I listen to Hypnosis Mp3s every day, as a Hypnotherapist I know how important it is to keep our minds in a clear and progressive state. I’ve trained Liz as a hypnotist, and now I get to experience her Reiki session. I’m going to call her “Hoover Liz” from now on. 

 Don’t we all just want the blocks and issues to be sucked away into the ethers! Liz moves to a next area on my body, “touch me, don’t touch me… I steel myself to be ready”. 

Then I feel someone attached to me, my ex-husband Dick Sutphen has been dead for a month, he loves my work. We worked together for 32 years. He’s nestled by me, I tell “Hoover Liz” I need to gently extract Dick. He’s asking to work with me, but he needs to do his heavenly process and I tell him, I’m sure we’ll be connected in the same “soul tribe” on the other side. You still have a lot of work to do. Visit me and our children in our dreamstates. 

The next day I feel really refreshed. Thank You Liz.

Mabon (FALL EQUINOX)

Autumn Equinox, 2nd Harvest, September 20/21/22 September 22, 2018 (Almanac)

Mabon, (pronounced MAY-bun, MAY-bone, MAH-boon, or MAH-bawn) is the Autumn Equinox. The Autumn Equinox divides the day and night equally, and we all take a moment to pay our respects to the impending dark. We also give thanks to the waning sunlight, as we store our harvest of this year’s crops. The Druids call this celebration, Mea’n Fo’mhair, and honor the The Green Man, the God of the Forest, by offering libations to trees. Offerings of ciders, wines, herbs and fertilizer are appropriate at this time. Wiccans celebrate the aging Goddess as she passes from Mother to Crone, and her consort the God as he prepares for death and re-birth.

Various other names for this Lesser Wiccan Sabbat are The Second Harvest Festival, Wine Harvest, Feast of Avalon, Equinozio di Autunno (Strega), Alben Elfed (Caledonii), or Cornucopia. The Teutonic name, Winter Finding, spans a period of time from the Sabbat to Oct. 15th, Winter’s Night, which is the Norse New Year.

At this festival it is appropriate to wear all of your finery and dine and celebrate in a lavish setting. It is the drawing to and of family as we prepare for the winding down of the year at Samhain. It is a time to finish old business as we ready for a period of rest, relaxation, and reflection.

Symbolism of Mabon:

– Second Harvest, the Mysteries, Equality and Balance.

Symbols of Mabon:

– Wine, gourds, pine cones, acorns, grains, corn, apples, pomegranates, vines such as ivy, dried seeds, and horns of plenty.

Foods of Mabon:

Colors of Mabon:

– Red, orange, russet, maroon, brown, and gold.

– Making wine, gathering dried herbs, plants, seeds and seed pods, walking in the woods, scattering offerings in harvested fields, offering libations to

trees, adorning burial sites with leaves, acorns, and pine cones to honor those who have passed over.

– Protection, prosperity, security, and self-confidence. Also those of harmony and balance.

Deities of Mabon:

– Goddesses-Modron, Morgan, Epona, Persephone, Pamona and the Muses. Gods-Mabon, Thoth, Thor, Hermes, and The Green Man.

Mabon is considered a time of the Mysteries. It is a time to honor Aging Deities and the Spirit World. Considered a time of balance, it is when we stop and relax and enjoy the fruits of our personal harvests, whether they be from toiling in our gardens, working at our jobs, raising our families, or just coping with the hussle-bussle of everyday life. May your Mabon be memorable, and your hearts and spirits be filled to overflowing!

Full Corn Moon

The Full Thunder Moon (Native American) at 10* Pisces will culminate, September 1, 2020 11:22pm pacific | September 2, 20201:22am eastern (Farmers Almanac).

This Pisces Full Moon is all about depths. How you linger or lounge in contemplation and introspection. How an idea germinates is often associated with an emotional response to creativity or problem solving. Deep within, one can certainly find and obtain an obscure or hidden flaw needing to come to light and squelched. The first step is “not allow your mind and psyche to fool itself”. You could write down all what you think bothers you. Analysis can liberate stress and issues, such as doubt, fear, upsets, repression, compliances and drama. 

When distress is mixed with the Piscine water energy, we look at whether the truth is mixed with illusion or secret motives. There can be an underlying or foggy way of looking at things. Phobias, bad habits, unsavory behavior need to be revised. It can be the simplest putdowns turning a persons sincerity into a bitter struggle, an innocence turning into a scorn or a fight. While blocks and limitations lie close at hand as well. It can take a concerted effort to alleviate what holds you back, especially when you think your faults are often lost or faintly visible. Or you don’t take the time to fix your inner nature.

Inward study or meditation can bring observations into a state of being seen or explored. From that knowledge you begin comprising a compassionate nature and using your intuition to further your objectives. There is a re-focus and it matches a positive outlook. Revising your emotional structure is in the works. You are asked to adjust your attitude. You may be asked to modify in many ways. To be pain-free in every way is the goal.

Humans are on reset: what do we do and how do we go forward. We all have a tool set and competence. Maybe you are missing pieces of your success formula, your health regime, deep wisdom, extra knowledge or your love techniques.
